The court is our classroom and a very fun one. Let's keep the environment a positive one. Valuable lessons can be learned by winning, and losing as well.
If you have concerns about your ref(s) or tournament protocal do not make a scene in front of players and parents. Contact the tournament coordinator on site with your concerns.

What to bring the day of the Tournament

- Medical Release for each athlete -form in team packet
- Coach Sports-Head Injury Compliance statement -form in team packet
Do I have to turn in the same paperwork for each tournament?
Once you've turned in your paperwork for your first tournament with us you're good for the rest of the tournament season. IF NEW PLAYERS ARE ADDED, YOU'LL NEED TO SUBMIT THIER MEDICAL RELEASE FORM AND MAKE SURE WE HAVE ADDED THEM TO YOUR ROSTER AT CHECKIN.
Game Rules
- 5 minute warm-up time
- 3 minute half-time
- 3 timeouts per game
- 23 minute halves - Clock stops last 1 minutes of a game that is 10 points/less
- 6 fouls per player ( 1-1 at 7 team fouls, 2 shots at 10 fouls)
- Technical foul on player (2 quarters)
- Second technical on Player - sitting out of rest of game and missing the next game
- Technical on coach (seatbelt rule)
- Second Technical on coach—leave gym for the remainder of game and the next game
- NO full-court press defense if leading by 20 or more points
- 4th /5th /and 6th grade boys use a 28.5" (girls size) ball unless both coaches agree otherwise.
- Overtimes: 1-minute stop time. Jump ball on firt OT, Possession arrow on rest of OT's
What are the "Concussion Forms"
The concussion forms are a Washington State requirement for youth sports
I have included a link to the forms for your convenience.
To save paperwork, you as the coach only need to turn in our single concussion form which indicates that your parents and players have read the concussion information that applies to them.
Tournament information
- Tournaments are held on Sundays (except for Tournment of Champions-see tournament schedule
- Spectator Fee: Adults $2.00, Seniors and Students $1.00, Children under age 5 fee.
- All tournaments are held at Battle Ground High School
- $155 covers three games for the day/ if schedule only allows two games cost is pro-rated.
- Each team provides one score's table technician (it's not as hard as it sounds).
